Pattern again :)

This is so cool! My mother being of the generation married with the culture (Ns of course) but now most of her closest friendships are with people from arround the world. The closest family friends are so culturally different...

Lebanon
Isreal
Korea
Pakistan
Sri Lanka

and a very tall ex NBA basketball player who is African American and very ADD...LOL!

Considering my grandmother is a rabid racist (she is N)... my mother sure has interesting friends.

Hug!

I was thinking about this not too long ago. My mother is very racist. She even hates Native Americans although she has a pretty good amount of 'injun' blood in her background. My dad does not see people's color, size, shape, state of hygiene, etc at all. He does notice nice boobs, lol.

Between me and my VERY alternative lifestyle & choice of mates & my siblings marrying people from Japan & Pakistan somehow my Mom has had to accept and deal with it.

Even Randall, who is my Dad's best friend and my bedfriend is Lebanese. (long story) But technically, he is also my ex-brother-in-law by adoption, since he was married to my adopted & then disowned sister for a few short years.

Poor Mom nary a whitey in sight :/

HAHA

LOL KARMA!

I love that term "bedfriend"!

It is soooooooo difficult to define relationships using words. They just do not have the bandwidth to explain the complex nature of any relationship I have been involved in...if I start using them...then I feel as if I am going to kill the relationship!

Erin calls me Cory the Man Whorey :)

So what do we do...we are so similar? You know that is the most foreign thing to me on the planet...finding someone as like me as you! The reason I know we will have a lasting friendship is...when we know our similarities...the differences are so fascinating as to keep our friendship going forever...great thing about being so massive!
