My Cellular Communication Device has died.

At first I was mildly distressed about this, because I can no longer retrieve phone numbers from it in order to call people. This was immediately followed by irritation directed at the manner of my phones demise. I simply picked it up from my bedside table and I got this message on the screen. "Sim dislodged please power off & back on". Which I did and then I got this message "Insert Sim."

I went to the support sight and it said to clean the terminals with an eraser and re-insert the card. If that doesn't work to contact your provider for a new Sim card. Which really means contact them so they can tell you that you need to buy a new phone.

All of this I find highly suspect, because I am not one of those people that carries around my cell phone everywhere with me and I don't use it very often. Mainly it just sits on my bedside table. So how did the sim become dislodged? How would the contacts become dirty? I find it much more likely that my sim card was zapped by the cellular provider in order to force me to purchase a new phone.

Sure this might seem far-fetched or maybe even paranoid. But, it IS possible and given the overwhelming greed of companies, cellular phone companies in general it would not surprise me in the least.

Remember... Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't after you!
